Time to Kill by iya-chen Time to Kill by iya-chen
Been reading so many good fantasy novels during break and getting very inspired *v* I also haven't had free time to draw something completely for fun, so this was really refreshing!

Merry late Christmas and happy early New Year c:

Edit: Some of you have been asking which novels, so here's a list in case I'm beginning to sound horribly redundant haha: I just finished reading The Hammer by K.J. Parker and Blood Song by Anthony Ryan, and some of my all time favorite inspirations are The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson, The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch, and the Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks! <33

She looks a little bit like Ciri from "The Witcher", Polish fantasy saga. Ashen hair, elvish countenance, bright shawl and the beautifull horse.

Ouh. Probably ^^" Sorry, it's hard for me sometimes to recognize the sex of anime-looking elf.
Wooow the atmosphere and colooursss <333 The lighting and background are also so great too omg ;v; I didn't notice the title until I read the artists' comment because I was too busy staring at the beautiful picture hnng
I wonder what it means though, does it refer to the main person in this picture or are we perhaps viewing from the person who is planning to kill the main person and that's why the view is sort of covered? Who knows haha maybe I should stop pretending I know what I'm talking about X)
Loving the horse! Could you please explain the title??
You should check out The Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks. Better than Night Angel Triology. ;)

And gorgeous art. Love it. Maybe its the main character from The Way of Shadows? ;)

Beautiful, as always! If you ever run out of fantasy novels, try out the riddle of stars trilogy! It's my favorite book series ever, a really wonderful piece of fantasy. Actually, it's author Patricia A. Mckillip, is in general a really wonderful fantasy author. So yeah, check her out! if you don't feel like a trilogy The Bell at Sealey head and Song for the Basilisk are really good too
Haha pretty much all the books you listed are my favorites <3
