Happy late new year! Inspired partly by books again and mostly by Venice, where I'd much rather go instead of back to school ;_; I'd hoped to get more drawings done gaah why does break have to disappear so quick---
OMG your art is really really really amazing, i love each of your works. And i love in particular this setting (my mother is from Venice and even if i live in Rome i feel like this city is my second home).
Do you have a bigger version of this? If I could set it as my desktop wallpaper it would be great! eheheh
beautiful work iya-chen I love the blurs you seem to add into all your work now just to give it that little sense of motion and perspective. also aah I can imagine the flood of inspiration you'd have the day you visit venice ahaha. I feel that way with japan ;v;
No way! An update already! Wow. Honestly, your style is so painterly and beautiful it's hard to figure out how you do it. It'd be great if you made a mini tutorial even if it only shows us how to colour the boot buckles. ;__; Thank you for sharing!
Holy shit, everything in this piece is beautiful! The buildings, the sparkling, reflective water, the birds and their blurry-in-motion effect, right down to the physically correct gondola, just right in and above the water and the perfect anatomy and beauty of the people on it.
And i love the image of this being taken from a viewpoint under a tunnel. You cant see everything, but everything that you CAN see is so beautiful is breathtaking.
WOW. That's really all that can be said, really curious to what book this is from. amazing work, the colours, the texture of the water, I CAN SEE A RIPPLE!! From the background to the foreground, it is gorgeous. Please, PLEASE keep up this amazing art. It's breathe taking.
